This Artist Paints With Fire

At this year’s Fire Island Dance Festival, critically acclaimed musician serpentwithfeet will weave his existing experimental discography with new music in an excerpt from “Heart of Brick,” his work created in collaboration with The Joyce Theater. The piece captures the multi-generational spirit of the Black queer community and features genre-defying dance from Raja Feather Kelly, a three-time Princess Grace Award winner and choreographer of A Strange Loop . #FIDance makes its annual return July
