Holocaust survivor, Mary Bauer, was 16 years old when she and her family were sent to Auschwitz-Birkenau. Earlier this month, Mary met Ela Shani, a 14-year old survivor of the October 7th attacks in Israel. ⁠ ⁠ Both Mary and Ela share a harrowing experience that we cannot ignore.
