I don’t know about you, but i could be reading the most phenomenal book that everyone has recommended to me and if I’m not it the mood/mindset for that type of book then I’m not able to enjoy it as much as I would if I read it another time. It’s the same for me with shows and movies. For example, I’ve picked up A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara at least 5 times and only gotten through the first two chapters before I realize I’m not ready to read this book that I have no doubt will be a favorite
