10 years since the passing of British glam rocker, actor and presenter Bernard Jewry AKA Alvin Stardust. Performing as Shane Fenton in the early 60s, Jewry had a series of Top 40 singles, but his career really took off when he adopted the Alvin Stardust moniker and embraced the glam scene with hits including 1973’s My Coo Ca Choo. Hits continued into the 80s, and Stardust was a regular on various TV shows. He died while battling cancer at age 72, just weeks before his first album in 30 years was
