How to Replicate Antique Staircase Balusters

The original handrail for the stairs in our building is in pretty good shape for being 123 years old. It’s well worn and smooth on top from decades of traffic when the upstairs was a dancehall. The handrail is two sections and totals 23 feet in length. It was hung on seven cast iron hand rail mounts that have been completely stripped down and refinished.
