Daikon radishes have been one of our easiest fall root crops. They grow with very little weed and pest competition and are the highest yielding root crop in pounds per acre. With proper storage, daikons can last 6 to 9 months. They also come in a variety of colors: purple, green, red, and white. we have found it very easy to market them when you combine the colors together along with some carrots and sell them as a stir-fry or roasting mix.
