This was such a cool experience! Bodmin Jail was built in 1779 and has a lot of history. Over the time it was open, 55 executions took place here for crimes such as murder and burglary. The last execution took place in 1909. Half of it has now been turned into a beautifully designed hotel whilst still keeping parts of the old prison. Our room was in the Naval wing, room 123.
