I'm running a 350/325 hp, BTO 200-4R Level 2, and a 8.5" '74 Nova 3.42 posi. I'm a hotrodder and take my cars to the limit. No wheel hop yet. Tires are BFG 225/60 x 15.

2024年11月1日 · I welded a grade 8 bolt on the top of the leaf spring, approximately over the pin that locates the leaf on the shock bracket. This acted as a stud to keep the lowering block in place. I pressed out the pin on the lowering block and placed it on the new stud. The pin on the bottom side of the leaf spring was maintained to locate the rear end.

Plasma cut the spring perch off the differntial and reweld it on the new location. Make sure your pinion angle is still the same. You have to Notch the gas tank!

2021年11月27日 · Kit has a thick steel spacer with a hole for spring locating bolt head to rest in. I used OER RL8 spring pad under spring to multi-leaf plate. I removed the small 15" lower fifth spring leaf and it fits perfectly. After removing that 5th plate I had to cut the leaf centering bolt to proper length so it doesnt damage the RL8 pad centering dome.
