Jan 6, 2020 · The fan picks up cold air from the floor and sends it in front of the heater and carries the mixture of warm and cold up to the ceiling where it spreads out. The room is quickly warmed up with the heat distibuted much more evenly from ceiling to floor without a bunch of too warm air up at the ceiling and too cold air down on the floor.

Jul 5, 2018 · New MH didn't have space for the Camco so we researched and switched to Mr. Heater. Plumbed in a low pressure line. Ordered the RV version MH18 on Amazon and the adapter to plug the Mr Heater in so the fan doesn't chew up D batteries. Has 3 temperature setting plus the fan.

Sep 24, 2017 · A Buddy heater is a catalytic heater and is perfectly safe. How many lawsuits do you hear about because of these heaters? None because they are safe. Way safer than leaving a burner going on your stove all night. Crack a window and run a hose in from a 20 pound propane tank sitting outside. Crack a vent and sleep safe and sound.

In the basic terms condensation occurs when warm, moist air comes into contact with a cold surface (or cold air). This leads to wet windows, moist walls, damp beds Etc.

May 30, 2015 · With a ventless heater, The operator needs to manually turn it on/off, ensure proper air flow, ensure the heater is physically located in a safe location for operation, etc. These can be a pain, but the payback is 99.9% efficiency with no battery drain vs 35-50% efficiency with significant battery drain of a wall furnace.

Dec 13, 2017 · The QD shuts off the gas when unhooked & the ball valve is just for good measure. When traveling we put the heater in the bathroom & the hose back in the cabinet. Also for what it's worth we run a 12v Endless Breeze box fan on the counter (1.3a draw) and circulate the heat for the trailer evenly.

Nov 8, 2010 · We use a Buddy Heater and it was nice to have last winter when the south forgot to warm up. I do have a 3" 12 vdc fan attaced to the top to move the air as it rises off the heater. We usually use the 1# cylinders but we needed it so much last year I ran a 12' hose, from a 20# tank on the ground, in through the pass side window.

Mar 27, 2008 · I have both a Portable Buddy and a Big Buddy. The Big Buddy basically is two Portable Buddys in one case, you can use one or both burners at one time. I use both to get things up to temp and then one burner to maintain temperature. Using the 1# cans is very expensive, so hooking up to the coach propane is desirable.
