Wayfair sold us an expensive leather sofa, and delivered a cheap cloth sofa. We gave away our original cloth sofa a day before delivery was supposed to happen. They said it was a mistake and we waited for the leather sofa that turned out to be another cloth sofa delivered.

There are certain Wayfair brands that I have luck with and I stick with those. The items are good enough quality, well designed and tolerable to assemble. 17 Stories, George Oliver and Latitude Run come to mind. It’s also important to read reviews about the difficulty of assembly. I’ll make a final decision based on that.

Wayfair is not IKEA, but that doesn’t mean it is better quality than IKEA. Pay attention to the brands and reviews. The brand as advertised may not be the brand you get. I bought a bed on Wayfair that was advertised as one brand, but when it was delivered it was a totally different brand... same design as advertised, just a different brand.

We've bought a lot of stuff from Wayfair / Overstock / Allmodern . Generally we've had good luck when the item and/or brand have good reviews, and bad luck when the reviews aren't good. We bought a desk chair and one of the casters broke almost immediately - Wayfair sent us a whole new chair base with casters, for free. So that was awesome.

2024年1月19日 · Just pay attention a lot to the reviews - the quality of stuff is mixed. I saw a console table at a random boutique store, but they didn't have the color I wanted. Wayfair had same brand, correct color and was cheapest. Order it - exactly what I wanted. I found a coffee table on wayfair (different brand), ordered it, and not impressed with quality.

I’ve noticed that Wayfair changes the names of brands/items so before you order it may be helpful to do a quick reverse image search to read reviews/see prices from other realtors. Also, check their sister stores like Joss & Main and Birchlane because they may also have the same items at different price points.

2021年1月14日 · Wayfair has undergone recent bankruptcy, BBB, and litigation suits pending from 2021 into 2022, for knowingly advertising/selling inferior products, and poor customer/shipping service. They 'removed' the option to product review, some time over 2022.
