2020年2月8日 · Dr. have there own opinions and can't agee on one course. Knowing that Tymlos can be started with smaller does is wonderful to know. Since the Dr. and Pharmacist say nothing of it. I metabolize meds very quickly and this could be my answer.I am 72 and really wondered about needing all this.Also the high copay for it vs Prolia not costing anything.

I liked Tymlos because the dose on the pen is adjustable. I could not handle a full dose at first so started low and moved up. My doc agreed with this. I am sensitive to meds.

I don’t know how well the Tymlos is working because my rheumatologist won’t order bone marker tests now but wants to wait for 1 year point. Today I’m going to ask my pcp to order them. Although it has only been approved for 1.5 years, she said Tymlos has been out in trials before that, and had same side effects mentioned for both. I keep my Tymlos in my fridge when not using it, but when I travel I like not having to refrigerate the injector.
