Get at least 5 of the two fossils you need for the pokemon you're trying to get shiny. Revive all of them, check for shiny, SR if needed. Rinse and repeat. Obviously the more fossils you have, the less SRing there will be.

The exact number of fossil halves doesn't matter, I just used 10 as a random number. But I definitely recommend a high amount of each half you want to drastically cut down on soft reset time.
