Why is 2 year payback so important. I know that the quicker you can payback money the better you are.

2016年10月18日 · I'm still pondering a shed design and haven't decided on whether to go with trusses and have a clear span throughout the building, or something like Peter's shed but with a more diminutive beam. As mentioned above you should run through the beam calculator in the toolbox to get a design you know will work.

I have shed roofs on each side of my workshop that extend 26 feet on either side so that I can build racks and store air dried lumber. On the right side, a pesky scarlet oak got in the way . On the left side, it was a pesky white oak.

2011年9月28日 · That roof area is 20x25=500 sq-ft, and needs to support 17,500 lbs. 1/2 the load is on each side of the shed, so the beam needs to support 8750lbs or 350LBS per linear foot. Also if your shed is going to be longer than the 25' and have additional area under roof then the poles under the beam also have some loads from the adjacent roof area.

2018年6月12日 · My first shed for my LT10 was just a little short lengthwise- and wouldn't you know it, a lot of the logs I wanted to mill were as long as the mill could handle. That meant back-and-forth with the endloader to wiggle the log in. Time waster. New saw mill shed is wider on both sides than the 20+ foot length I can cut.

However, you eventually need to make some 2D plans to submit and/or work from as you are actually building. That is done with their other program, Layout. That one is not free - it comes bundled with the paid version of SU.
