2023年12月23日 · Personally, I have always enjoyed Sonic's adventures on the Game Gear. I had one back in the day, and I have all four of the main Sonic games for the handheld. Triple Trouble is the best one, but Chaos is just as good. Sonic 1 on the Game Gear was a great companion to it's 16-bit sibling with some fun ideas tossed into a very solid game.

The 8-bit version of Sonic the Hedgehog is very special for me
This has been recently ported to the Commodore 64 requiring a RAM expansion unit (REU), and it's a fantastic technical achievement. It was my first contact with the 8-bit Sonic and as a few other comments say, I find it more enjoyable than the Genesis one. You can find it at csdb.dk, latest release is v1.2, give it a try on a C64 emulator!
