2010年7月8日 · The Rock is just as accurate if not more so, it's substantially smaller while only giving up 1 round. And 1911's are sooooo much easier to find parts for. And Armsacor, the company that makes the frames for RIA, also makes the frames for a few of the high dollar 1911 manufacturers.. So in short, I love my RIA Compact.

2016年1月10日 · My Rock Island Compact has the FLGR. Tried many times to remove without a tool. Just doesn't work. Paper clips are cheap & I keep several on my bench & in my range box. To the OP, If you can field strip without the plastic clip, hats off to you. But a call to Springfield will get you a replacement. Maybe you could as for a couple of extras.

Then I bought a steel Rock Island 1911 Compact in .45ACP.,sold all the plastic guns and bought 4 more Rocks. A bit heavier but fit my hand and have improved my shooting bigtime as the weight is better displaced. Rocks Rock.
