2017年12月13日 · So not sure what to say there. So many factors. I guess you could take off the catch can, put on an OEM unit, get smogged, then take it off, but man that would get old. Some on these forums running high HP and Boost have no issues with the OEM unit. So not sure why some folks have issues and others dont. Its bizarre. Jeff

2011年4月21日 · The service mgr. had the tech come out and look at it as soon as I pulled it up and asked him if he'd seen that before an the tech said that yes, it was somewhat common. They kept the car for over an hour and then told me they need to order a new valve cover gasket and cam position sensor.

There was hardly any oil down the chamber that houses the plug/coil, maybe just a tiny bit that gave it a glazed look. My buddy said I probably need to replace my valve cover/gasket and my O rings. Wish I had a better answer for you however it seems it's better to take it to a reputable shop and pull the valve cover off minimum or top of the timing chain cover and begin basic inspection.

All at an incremental cost over the replica projectors. I honestly would have been disappointed if I had to pay $2400 for the full swap including AFS controllers, high-line CECM, etc.

2023年5月30日 · The plugs take a beating with the extra pressures and heat but the coils just take electricity and juice it up to spark, other than the tendency to come loose from the engine vibration they are not directly affected by higher tunes. Plus, if a coil was bad it would cause a misfire which then would possibly cause a boost issue.
