LIORESAL INTRATHECAL (baclofen injection) Refill Kits. Each refill kit includes the indicated amount of LIORESAL INTRATHECAL, a drug preparation kit, a pump refill kit with accessories that are compatible with Medtronic SynchroMed® Infusion Systems, and associated instructions.
The purpose of this procedure is to allow the Advanced Health Practitioner (AHP) to reprogram and refill intrathecal Baclofen pumps, as well as access the catheter access port for those AHPs that need to do so. An intrathecal Baclofen pump is indicated for patients with severe spasticity who do not respond to oral Baclofen.

The SynchroMed™ II pump life is up to 7 years, depending on the medicine you're programmed to receive each day. Your physician will closely monitor the performance of your programmable pump at each of your refill appointments.
