martini 3prong vs 8 prong vs basket 4 prong - PriceScope
2012年2月1日 · The 3 prong martini seems to sit closest to ear and be the least distracting. But I'd be worried about only having 3 prongs, so I don't think I want this one. The 4 prong basket seems to be the most common type, but how visible is the basket and how far out are the diamonds set?

2003年10月3日 · By the way, I have a similar issue with my studs - which at ~.5 ctw are considerably smaller than yours. My studs are set in Whiteflash's 8-prong martini settings, which generally have a shallower base than 3-prong martinis. One of my piercings seems to be a bit smaller than the other - or maybe the scar tissue is a bit thicker.

2007年2月17日 · In other words, for it to be noticeably bigger I''d have to spend a whole lot more. Mine are from Whiteflash and I was very happy with the whole experience. When I got mine, the martini setting was just about the same price as the basket setting. I like how the martini settles into the ear instead of sticking out, so it was an easy decision for me.

After getting this setting from WF I liked it enough to have my other studs which are 1.8 ctw set in the same style setting at my local jeweler (Stuller has one called 8 prong wire basket but it's the same) in a different color metal.
