Mapperton is our family home and estate in the heart of West Dorset, England. Our mission is ‘wellbeing through connection with heritage, nature and community’ and we are opening up Mapperton as much as possible for visitors, viewers, volunteers and the local community to enjoy.
Visitor Information - Mapperton
Mapperton House is open from 31 March until 30 September 2024, Sunday to Thursday. The house is open for guided tours only, starting 11am, 12pm, 1pm and 2pm. Tour spaces are limited so we recommend pre-booking to avoid disappointment.

Mapperton is one of the most important and distinctive gardens in the country. Winner of the 2020 Historic Houses Garden of the Year award, the gardens are registered Grade II* and are among a handful of the top gardens in the south west.
