I'll be honest; I'm not sure if saving <23% ($142 when replacing both rear shocks) for 2 shocks would be enough to swing me away from going OEM.

2012年4月7日 · Consider that the z71 has a standard suspension coupled with the air ride. That combination, I believe will rival the magnetic ride. I think the magnetic ride is nicer than the standard. But the magnetic ride coupled with the air suspension ride the best. IMHO I drove an Lt, premier and high country.

2021年4月21日 · Yes, I used the silver ring as I ordered OEM lower spring seats to be safe. I thought I blew the top mounts due to the difference in spring rates but just realized I have again blown the top mounts with OEM non-magnetic ride springs installed… can’t imagine how I could have installed the upper mount incorrectly but I have now gone thru 4 KYB upper mounts… has anyone else had this problem

2021年3月18日 · In my opinion (not having a Yukon/Tahoe in the past) the smooth ride suspension is not great. I would go with the Magnetic ride. My reference to the exterior lighting is that the Yukon has "full" LED lighting, whereas the Tahoe does not. It also has fog lights. So if ride is more important than lighting then go with the Tahoe Premier.

I decided to go with a full coilover replacement from Arnott (model SK-3354) which are an exact replacement—yes they are magnetic shocks.

2016年8月3日 · The '17 was better but the 18 improved also. Many guys with the 15-16 delete the system change the coils and shocks. Repairing your system will still have a harsh ride. Going to drive the 2021 tomorrow hear its a good ride. we shall see. I love the 2013 LTZ ride but would never consider a 2015-2020 again.

2016年1月20日 · The previous gen magnetic ride coupled with the max towing made the ride a litttle hard. In my opinion, it is smooth but a little rough on certain roads. the current gen lt was ok but the premier was noticeably better. The high country with magnetic ride and air ride was the best and noticeably better than the premier.
