2008年12月27日 · Re: 2AA Mini-Maglite; Krypton vs. Xenon bulbs I went to home depot the other day and got xenon bulbs for my 2c and for my 2AA mini mag, then I set up the camera and did some beamshot test on manual. both of the xenon bulbs where noticeably whiter. The 2C bulbs where a tiny bit brighter and the minimag bulb was quite a bit brighter.
Krypton vs Xenon - how much difference (Maglite)
2011年12月9日 · Although looking at the Maglite site, the Xenon ones seem to be putting up some very stout cd figures, e.g. 3D Xenon 16,280cd 6D Xenon 28,547cd Are they really as good as they look on paper? I don't recall the old krypton ones being anywhere close. In fact I tried a 6D bulb on 7.2v but only managed 4500cd!
Maglites and those different versions/bulbs have me confused...
2013年1月15日 · I also find that the Mag PR xenon bulbs produce a much nicer beam than the old krypton bulbs. For the AA Mini-Mag, the current Mag xenon bulbs are pretty good. Back in the day, I used to use nexstar bulbs sold by brinkmann, these are a tad brighter than the current Mag xenon bulbs and were noticeably whiter/brighter than the old krypton bulbs.

are the Maglite LED upgrade kits worth it?
2008年10月1日 · If you're going for the cheaper options, Sears sells a 'universal' luxeon LED upgrade for PR bulbs for $10. It's noticably whiter and brighter than the Maglite replacement LEDs. They say universal because you can run it on anywhere from 2 to 6 cells, and it gets brighter the more cells you use. Quick, cheap, and it works.
Maglite ML300L LED: can bulb break or burn out?
2016年3月15日 · New here. I just bought this new 3D cell flashlight. Older versions came with a replacement bulb in the tail cap, the new one does not. I know LED bulbs last longer than incandescent, but nothing lasts forever. Maglite does not offer replacement LED bulbs on website or does it talk about it...

2013年12月11日 · The best bang for your buck and sticking with nostagia is to go to flashlight lens dot com and order an ultra clear hard coat poly lens for about $5 + s&h then go to eBay and find some 3 cell Maglite xenon bulbs with a PR base. They ran about $6 last time I bought some.

2007年1月19日 · The Xenon lamp is the newer bulb that supersedes the older Krypton design, but for whatever reason, Mag continues to sell Krypton models right alongside the Xenon ones at any given Maglite display. Regardless, if you're dead set on using a stock Mag bulb, make sure yours/your replacement is a Xenon.
