Lots of rain and overcast skies. Eat salmon, mushrooms, and drink milk for vitamin D. It doesn't bother some people, and it drives others crazy.

2016年10月8日 · Sounds exaggerated, even for an all electric house. Maybe $400 a month in winter. I posted a table of Alaska community electric rates not too long ago that showed Sitka at less than 13 cents/kwh. Even with an increase, which is probably modest, the rate wouldn't be nearly as high as most places in Alaska.

2015年3月25日 · Sitka is cool, but very expensive. I always say that living in Sitka was "a three year camping trip that we are still paying off. " The Backdoor was our favorite, but I think they changed hands. Pizza Express is good, and Bayview is good, but it can take forever to get food.
