2019年2月1日 · TIL Phil Collins was the only artist to perform at both Live Aid 1985 benefit concerts. He played at Live Aid Wembley, went by helicopter to Heathrow, flew to New York on the Concorde, then another helicopter to Live Aid Philadelphia.

2021年8月1日 · As pennance, I will offer this tidbit- Live Aid REALLY wanted NYC for their 'American Concert', but IIRC, the only available venue was Shea Stadium, and the Mets were NOT interested in giving up the stadium (they won the World Series that year- 86 was the year of the Bill Buckner fuckup). So, Philly was chosen as a 'backup'.
