2021年6月11日 · I just bought a bottle of their Venezuelan rum from Lidl - I almost didn't as I couldn't see the rum and thought it might be white. But it was on offer so... It is actually pale gold and very clean and fresh tasting- I'll definitely be going back to try the Jamaican one. They are a German company and have info on website.

Venezuelan rums are very popular, but as mentioned on the thread they are usually heavily dosed with sugar. Another option is to ask your friend if he can bring some artisanal Cocuy, which is a spirit similar to mezcal, there are some good producers but it's not easy to find.
