Steve was a jerk in early season one, but he was totally justified in that moment. What Jonathan did was wrong, creepy, and totally unacceptable. He deserved to have his camera smashed. He needed to learn a lesson to improve as a character. To be fair i didn't like Jonathan in the 1st season. Both him & Steve grew since then.

He was right to call Jonathan out and to rip the pictures, but he went too far with breaking the camera.
