I found it very enjoyable the 100 first hours because the trainings of skills were short, but passed this delay, i stopped playing because the amount of time to train skill in alpha (0.5x training speed) is too long, and you're only limited to 1day of skill in your list.

Which is why you’ll see lots of recommendations to join new player (and alpha) friendly groups; such as EVE University, Brave Newbies, Karmafleet, or Pandemic Horde just to name a few. Also, make use of the in-game help channel. I know it helped me when I started.
