The new update is absolutely horrible but its not the main problem. Reels are the thing which is ruining the platform. And sadly many users instead of showing their dislike desperately started to make reels almost exclusively- but, “surprisingly” the engagement isn’t better anyway. 🤬
Has anyone noticed the "Seen" time stamp changing on Instagram?
However, when you log into instagram via your computer browser (not the phone since it wont let you), and view that same message thread even though its marked READ, it will go ahead and update the "seen" time stamp. In conclusion THEY ARE PEEPING Y'ALL instagram is definitely not giving you false hopes. Hope this helped y'all

This update is the worst update I’ve ever seen on an social media app. I hate it so much. Bad enough it’s probably gonna push me to delete insta. It’s so glitchy too it keeps me on dark mode even though my phone and the rest of Instagram for me isn’t on dark mode.

Subreddit for all users that are locked, banned, blocked, disabled / deactivated by Facebook and/or Instagram; losing weeks of Facebook configurations, friends, business pages, Instagram accounts, etc.
Why do I only get new Instagram features on one of my accounts?
I have two Instagram accounts which I use on my (fully updated) Android app. The most recently created one gets all the new features (story highlights, story "type", etc.) as soon as they are rolled out, but the other one doesn't. This is a real nuisance as I use my older account much more - and yet I don't benefit from the new features.
