Imagine running two copies of Roblox at the same time (not quite a fair comparison, but you get the idea) It takes a lot more computing power to be able to render the two separate views.

From what I understand, Roblox only encounters problems when it detects your VR headset running through another software. To bypass this, I believe you'd need to disconnect your VR headset within the Oculus software before starting Roblox, then reconnect your headset the next time you want to use VR.

Hey everyone, I found how to disable vr mode in Roblox. Basically you have to take "OpenVR" out of the Steam/steamapps/common folder while you want to use Roblox. When you want to use steam vr you just need to put the "OpenVR" folder back into steamapps common folder. Annoying process but oh well
