Using Cell Styles as the Criteria for a Countif Function
I have used the built-in cell styles in Excel 2010 to manually label cells as Bad, Good, Neutral, or Normal. I now want to count the # of cells which are Bad, Good, Neutral, or Normal. I know how to use the countif function, but don't know how to define the criteria to look at the cell style.

2023年2月21日 · So when I use a counting formula, I see the number of shifts, not the number of hours I need. Is there any way to do this? The formula I use currently is: =COUNTIF(B2:H58, "Available"), which returns the number of merged cells. I want to know the total number of cells this represents if they were not merged.

Click in the Range box then highlight the area of cells you want to cover. Now click in the:-Criteria - box. Click in one of the cells that contain a check (tick) mark (its cell reference should appear in the Criteria box) then click OK. You should now have the count you require.
