2009年12月14日 · I have a used 16 gal oil drum that I will clean up, cut down to make a smoke box out of using an electric hot plate and saw dust pan or chip box, also going to put a hot plate in the bottom of the refrigerator for a heat source. For now I’m going to just manually control the heat with an external switch and temperature gauge.

2017年2月11日 · More like a boom. The first time it happened startled me. But the fire died quickly and smoke resumed. The wood box on both smokers is fairly substantial. On the Cookshack, it is an open top box as the roof/lid is welded in place to the back wall of the smoker. On the Smokin-it the box has its lid hinged and it slides out as a complete unit.

First thing will be build the frame with square tubing 1.5 or 2". then build a Shute 8 X 8 that tapers wider. Thicker metal for the hot box.
