Solved! Is it possible to convert an optical signal to HDMI
2017年8月10日 · My Sony soundbar connects to TV via HDMI (only has Optical out). HDMI & Optical together cause hearing aid interference on certain channels. I have an optical splitter and need to take a lead from splitter to a (box) that will convert that signal to HDMI and plug a n HDMI lead into the soundbar so others can enjoy TV.
Is there such a thing as an optical to HDMI adapter cable?
2016年1月2日 · I'm thinking of buying a bluetooth sound bar; however it only has an optical cable, and my television does not have an optical input-only a coaxial and 2 HDMI inputs. Is there a cable that can convert my HDMI into optical?

2024年6月5日 · Hi, thanks for your reply. These are the ports: USB (5V, 0.5A), common interface, HDMI (eARC), 2x HDMI, LAN, COAX (ANT, 13/18V, 0.4A), HTH. I think there is no way to connect a DAC as it has no digital optical output audio, am I wrong? Have a nice day.

2019年12月13日 · There will be no quality difference using HDMI-ARC or the optical output. You may lose an HDMI input if you use ARC. Check your TV audio menu to make sure it can be set to output in PCM stereo. Most optical to analog converters won't handle 5.1 bitstream output. Given your application I doubt spending a lot will make a difference.

2015年12月30日 · Alternative is to get a bluetooth dongle that plugs into HDMI or Optical? The TV is already connected to a UVERS system and DVD. Not looking to spend $100+ on a dongle to make a $90 speaker work, thought getting a bluetooth speaker with good reviews would be a simple solution with flexibility for future use on other things.

2021年7月27日 · The sound bar is looking only for the audio signal from the HDMI cable. Don't use the pass through, just connect your TV source directly to the TV via HDMI and then connect the 3.5mm audio output to the converter and the converter to the soundbar via HDMI.
