The Gwen Stacy's Problem in Spider-verse (Into the Spider-verse)
In the film, we meet Gwen Stacy, from a universe where she become the fixed spider-person. She was bittten by a radioactive spider, she started wearing a costume, someone close to her died and now she has a problem connecting with people, afriad she will hurt them, her arc in the film revolves around that.
My frustrations with Gwen Stacy (and her treatment of Miles
Gwen is given too many passes by the audience for what she did in Across the Spider Verse. To preface this post, I don't hate Gwen, at the most I mildly dislike her, I'm just disappointed in her actions in ATSV, and want to call out some of the mistakes she makes (and flaws she has) that don't get discussed by the fans.
