If you’re hairstyle is normally shorter, then you would get a haircut much more frequently than someone with long hair since they can grow their hair for much longer without it looking too unkept. So it depends on you.

If you're dating and/or need to look sharp, should get a haircut at maximum once every two weeks. Once a week if you're actively dating each week (Thursday is a good day to get it). I highly recommend getting a good set of clippers (about $30) and a hand mirror.

Same. My local barber shop has 3 chairs and stays busy but they're fast. They also do beards, eyebrows, and straight razor shaves. I just get a haircut and it's about 10 minutes in the chair. I take my 4yo son with me and we get our cuts together, just like my dad did with me.

The more questions you ask, the less you have to respond. Figure out questions that will get your barber/hairstylist to talk your head off. Find something in common that you and your barber/stylist have in common. It will make having conversations so much easier. Learn to take care of your own hair/ get it cut as low as possible.

I hate going to get my haircut. I always start twitching because I can't sit still, especially when they are trying to cut my hair straight.
