2023年3月5日 · We want to find a snorkeling destination and I'm wondering if anyone here has ideas. We tend to like upscale rustic - so a smaller boutique resort is preferable to big all-inclusives. I've heard that Roatan in Honduras is pretty great, Belize has come up, and of course, the Great Barrier Reef.

There are two bays and a lagoon. All are walk-in. It's about 20 min. south of PDC, easily and cheaply reached by bus, taxi or colectivo. All have rental gear, lockers, restaurants, etc. Beautiful beaches and just walk in and snorkel. You will see coral, fish, turtles depending on which area you snorkel. All body types welcome!

If you were DIVING as a newer diver, I’m not sure I wouldn’t recommend Cozumel as it is all drift diving with currents that can range from mild to down right wicked strong.
