Well, I'm not sure what they're talking about, because this sure ain't it! With a weight distributing hitch the Max Tow gains 2,400lbs of capacity and 240lbs of tongue weight.

2021年12月31日 · The image below is out of the "2022 Tow Guide" which I finally found online. It confirms the Max Tow no longer includes any of that. There's officially no point me getting the Trailer Tow package, and the extra $2,000 for the Max Tow is not worth it just to get the 9.75" gear set instead of the 8.8".

It doesn't mention any extra (or stiffer) rear leafs, different shocks, sway bars, etc., than the standard build. Does anyone know if the 2024 Tow/Haul package would cause the truck ride any stiffer when empty?

2024年1月17日 · The Max Tow is only 3.73 axle, if you want 3.55, you will not have MaxTow. The front shock are the ones that are different on FX4 package, many people think it is the rear shocks. The metal skid plates are marginal at best, so if you are considering serious off road trails, you should go 3rd party plates.

My real numbers are 1,350 (payload) - 350 (passengers) - 700 (tongue + WDH) = 300 left for gear. Camper will never be above 4,000.

2021年2月22日 · Not really as the max tow package now has the 5/0 or 3.5 EB engines with 9.75 rear axle. 9.75 rear axle with e-locker. 3.73 for the 5/0 & 3.55 for the 3.5EB. Go look at a dealer cherry picked F150 by adding tow, E-Locker, 36 gallon tank, brake controller and you'll often find that the sticker price is higher.
