Sir Robert Mark Wainwright KCMG (born 17 September 1967) is a British civil servant. He was the director of Europol from 16 April 2009 until 1 May 2018. He was brought up in Pontyberem and attended Gwendraeth Grammar School. Wainwright was educated at the London School of Economics graduating with a BSc in 1989. [2]
