PLP Dead-End String Assemblies hold the conductor tension and are designed to accommodate up to 95% of the conductor’s rated tensile load. The general designs given may be modified based on insulator strength and overall length requirements. A variety of tension adjustment devices are also available to accommodate changes in conductor tension.
