If you really want DOT approval, the Hutchenson are the only one's DOT approved. Stauns internal beadlock should be OK as well, since it goes inside the tire.

2011年8月19日 · Coming from a cop in Georgia, I have never seen a law about beadlock wheels, DOT approval for wheels or anything related to wheels unless its on a commercial vehicle (which are covered by Federal Regs and additional state regs) . Federal regulations cover vehicle manufacturers when they produce cars for interstate commerce.

On a normal 1-piece wheel, the pressure will force the tire to come off the bead, where in a beadlock you could possibly create so much pressure the tire will rupture.
