2021年8月24日 · I say this a lot in every forum and Discord server, but even if looking at performance in the same CPU/GPU, they are extremely unreliable. Just look at UBM’s graphical “tests”. One second of 800x600 render in DX 9. That is an absolutely ancient standard and it won’t even test newest DX12 GPUs accurately.

Check ram speeds, cpu speeds in HWInfo, is the ram set for dual channel in the right slots, is xmp applied, is fclock set, do you have eco settings set. There's multiple things that can clamp down on cpu performance, you'll be looking for stuff that just doesn't seem right.

2021年11月14日 · Turn on the Log File option in ThrottleStop and play a game for at least 15 minutes so you have a record of your CPU performance. The log file will also record any reasons for throttling. Copy and paste your log file data to www.pastebin.com and then post a link here so I can have a look. The log file will be in your ThrottleStop / Logs folder.

2014年7月29日 · Yes CPU usage will remain the same at 1440p as it is at 1080p for you with a 1070, GPU usage will increase exponentially . 1440p has close to 2x the pixel count of 1080p. At the same settings & fps if a game is using 40% of your GPU at 1080p it'll rise to 70-75% at 1440p

2022年4月14日 · That CPU has 2 sets of cores, 8 Performance-cores and 4 Efficient-cores which work at different frequencies. As far as I know, only Windows 11 "know" how and when to use them and schedule work accordingly. Efficient-cores for light work and Performance-cores for higher loads. Also make sure that Boost and Turbo Boost are enabled in BIOS.
