There is a speaker already installed in the Billy Bass, but it's kind of wimpy and not suited to live use, such as in a show. We will fix that by adding an output jack. The speaker has two wires coming to it from the PCB. One goes to the positive terminal, one goes to the negative terminal.

You'll need to remove Billy's little brain by unsoldering the 10 connections between it and the larger PCB, which contains the driver circuitry for the motors, the pushbutton, and the light sensor. You can then add your own wires connected to your mbed to control Billy's movement, and respond to the pushbutton and light sensor.
