2012年10月25日 · All this storm talk is bringing me back to my usual winter power outage dilemma. We don't have a fireplace or a generator. I've never seen a battery-powered or rechargable space heater. I know it would suck a lot of power, but I'm picturing just a small heater at least for personal space, perhaps rechargable from the car battery.

2019年12月20日 · I had an awesome little space heater which one of my teens knocked over one day and it broke. I bought another but it smelled, in that outgassing way. It smelled even when I didn't run it, you could just smell it in the room. I put it outside and ran it on and off for a few days. Then I put it in the garage.

2024年12月14日 · I have wool socks and snow boots (I found battery-heated soles didn't work well). I have super-duper mittens that partially zip open to reveal a pair of liner gloves, which means I don't actually have to take it all off to manipulate certain things - although I can do a surprising amount with the full mittens!
