2019年8月4日 · Random block ticks (including plant growth) only occur within chunks whose center is within 128 blocks of a player, so anything higher than 8 chunks has no effect (according to MC-119994 the game seems to not require that chunks be loaded next to the chunks being ticked, which also appears to be the case from the code for 1.6.4.
