2022年9月7日 · With Astro Adapter I can run 1080p 120hz no problem. I am unable to get the 1440p 120hz with the adapter. But if unplug adapter and go hdmi directly from ps5 to monitor I then get the 1440p 120hz. With the adapter I can also get 1440p but only 60hz for some reason

2022年5月9日 · Thank you for the reply. I just tried the optical out from the tv vs your hdmi adapter. My tv is a Samsung KS8000 model which is a really good TV set. I can honestly say that the sound is much much better when using the Astro hdmi adapter compared to using the optical out on the tv. The tv optical out creates a sound delay/muffled experience.

How to use your A40s with the PS5 (NO ADAPTER REQUIRED)
Just plugged in the Astro A40TR w/MixAmp via USB and the sound is much better compared to the 3D Audio port in the dual-sense controller. I was still able to control both dials for Volume & Chat/Game-Audio Mix. The only thing missing of-course is the EQ settings. Will the EQ settings be available with the HDMI adapter?

2020年9月3日 · HDMI 2.0 will support 4K @ 60 hertz, but to take full advantage of the PS5 you need HDMI 2.1 support if you want 4K @ 120 FPS. So basically at the end of the day, if the Astro Adapter isn’t capable of supporting HDMI 2.1, we will be be forced to choose sound quality or display refresh rate.

2021年4月27日 · The ASTRO HDMI Adapter including any HDMI audio extractor has a very limited reach and ours is to support any TV or monitor which doesn't have an optical output available such as tournament use. The PS5 can output at either 1080p, 120Hz or 4K, 60Hz HDR for gaming and we support both through the adapter.

2020年11月20日 · -Set up: Follow the setup that Astro has on their site/forums. The only confusion I had was that I did not put a power source usb from the wireless dock to the ps5. This requires 2 usb slots to power both the dock and the HDMI adapter. Note: There are problems with the usb charging the headset. It does not charge in stand by mode.
