2021年6月8日 · The arch of Constantine still stands. Some of the statues were destroyed or looted. In fact, when it was built the arch was decorated by reliefs that were removed from other monuments. Itself, it was a great example of art "recycling" in Rome!!

The Arch of Titus is on the other side of the forum from the arch of Constantine and it was built to memorialize the defeat of the Jewish rebellion. It says the Arch of Constantine was the largest known triumphal arch constructed and was built to celebrate Constantine's then 30 year reign as well as his defeat of the previous emperor in battle.
