Honestly though, individual HRTF starts to play a bigger factor the higher you go in frequency. And indeed Dr. Olive’s research shows that individual preference in bass level, if not perception, also varies.

2023年1月21日 · Without EQ, the Philips Fidelio X2HR still wins for me. After EQ the Hifiman HE400se sound edges out the Sennheisers and is more comfortable due to softer padding. For true portable use you can’t go wrong with the AKG K371, especially if you have an iPhone. They sound almost good enough to win outright.
