2010年5月22日 · I was surprised to learn that although it is semi-open, the K240 Monitor is very dependent on the condition of its ear pads. Flat pads impair sound quality and comfort, as the baffles tend to touch the ear. Also, the new velours pads from AKG pretty much destroy their sound - so it's a good idea to stick to the leather pads, they're cheaper anyway.

2011年8月18日 · I listened to the AKG 240 MKII at a local shop last week. The comfort is impressive, but the frequency response is all over the place. The mid-bass is around 10dBr, it goes down from there to around 5khz and then spikes from there to the high frequencies.

2004年2月16日 · In fact, on the AKG forum, the 240 is recommended for studio mix-down, while the 271 gets the nod only if isolation is required during the recording process. I personally preferred the sound of the K240s (and not just because I own them; I think I might sell them to finance a pair of Grados), whereas Iron_Dreamer seemed to prefer the 271s.
AKG K240 too quiet? Do I need an amp? A sound card?
2012年8月11日 · I know for a fact from a very creditable source that inside the 240's there is a chip that can be romoved that will bring the headphones up to the volume of other headphones. Like the akg 280's. They are soft for a certain studio purpose. There is nothing wrong with them and they dont need an amp.
