Aug 31, 2020 · Not only does that happen when I have a 300x300 image that is a jpeg, but it also says that the file is too small for a 1000x1000 jpeg file!!! Something is not right here. I am not exactly sure what the problem is. Could it be Spotify? Could it be the Image that I am using, but I am using a jpeg image, and making sure it is 300x300?

Jun 4, 2019 · Hey guys, I've been trying to add a photo of my spotify playlist but it doesn't seem to work at all, when i go put an image on, it always says the image should be 300x300. I've reinstalled and still the same thing pops up. I've resized the photos, looked for other sized photos, looked for 300x300 photo exactly and it still doesnt work.

Sep 16, 2018 · I believe the problem, now, is the opposite. Spotify has body parameters for the album photos, where the maximum paylod size is 256KB. So if the JPEG is any larger than that Spotify will compress the image to reduce data storage. Also, the images used as an album art in Spotify are 640x640px. Album art acceptable for stores is at least 1600x1600px.

Dec 19, 2020 · I'm not good at cropping images myself to make them square (removing part of the picture or adding blank space), and most other websites I use that let me upload pics have a feature to let me manually zoom or scale, or they auto-scale/crop smartly. Why Spotify hasn't figured this out yet, I don't know.

Sep 9, 2019 · Every time I try to insert a photo onto my playlist, it says it is too small 300x300? And when I find a smaller one it still doesnt even work. I've tried a clean reinstall, and clear the appdata and restarting my laptop. It still doesn't work. someone pls help

It keeps saying that the images I try using are 'too small' and that I need to use a 300x300. I've been trying to upload a 300x300 picture I have, and even larger images. No matter what, it keeps telling me that my pictures are too small.
