The 1770 public ramp is useable on all tides for small boats, but half tide up is best for big boats. The boat ramp is located around 1km or so from the mouth of the creek. You can travel 5km upstream on the high tides in a small boat so it’s not a huge system, but it’s still very productive. The main target species in this system are bream, whiting and flathead, with of course mud crabs being a mainstay as well.
