Shoreham’s Newton Academy, one of the earliest remaining secondary school buildings in Vermont, will benefit from two recent grants from preservation organizations. The Town of Shoreham was awarded a $15,000 grant from the Vermont Division for Historic Preservation for repair of the roof on the historic building.
