2015年7月10日 · I do all maintenance on my 10 year old pickup and my 65 year old Pontiac flathead 8. But if you total up the cost of the specified oil & filter, the dealer $24 oil change is really cheap. Then if you add in the free coffee and donut, it gets even cheaper. BTW the Pontiac is the easiest oil change for me because there is NO FILTER to replace!

2021年7月23日 · Found it! The torque specs are listed separately at the beginning of section 19 on page 6158 of 8110. The drain plug & test hole plug are 11 N-m / 97 lb-in. The Filler hole plug is 20 N-m / 15 lb-ft. Is there a better manual out there?

2013年6月12日 · After the oil is drained replace the drain plug (a new seal is recommended). The GM published torque for the drain plug is 14Nm /124 lb in (about 10 lb-ft). Install the oil sump drain plug and tighten to 14 N·m (124 lb in). Place the drain pan under the oil filter. Remove the oil filter. Allow the oil to drain completely.

2019年9月4日 · Oil used is Mobil One synthetic oil 0w20, 4 quarts, and a mobil one oil filter. Drove the Volt up on Rhino Ramps, oil plug is easy to get at and the filter easy as well. I put a new gasket on the oil plug, even though the one that was still on still looked completely serviceable. Oil filter was a snap as well.
